It will will not be this calm this afternoon when Hurricane Patricia comes ashore. Patricia turned into a CAT 5 over night and expected to land around Perula .... but it's so large it will effect the whole Jalisco coast. Possibility of some very large surf along with wind and rain.

Thank you for your continued Barra updates. I lived there in 2000 and 2001 but have never had a chance to make it back. I often wonder how Barra us doing. I love reading your updates. I hope it survives this hurricane.
